How Water-Fed Poles and DI Tanks Deliver Streak-Free Windows Without Ladders or Chemicals
A water-fed pole system is a modern method of cleaning windows using a long extendable pole, a brush, and purified water. Instead of using ladders or squeegees, the cleaner stays safely on the ground while water is pumped through the pole to the brush, which scrubs and rinses the glass at the same time.
The key to this system is the use of pure water. Unlike tap water, which contains minerals that leave spots when it dries, purified water has all dissolved solids removed, allowing it to dry completely clear without streaks.
This is made possible by a DI (deionization) tank. Inside the tank are resin beads that remove minerals from the water through a process called ion exchange, producing water with zero total dissolved solids (0 TDS).
Because of this, the system is safer, faster, and more effective than traditional window cleaning methods, leaving windows spotless without the need for chemicals or manual drying.
